Creativity Builds Strong Minds Through Fiction Novels

“People don’t want more information. They are up to their eyeballs in information. They want faith–faith in you, your goals, your success, in the story you tell.” -Annette Simmons

Too many times we get caught up in all the information coming at us. The information revolution, while in its essence has improved humanity by giving more

access to improve our knowledge base, it can be extremely hard to really hear and understand impactful stories.  You need to speak from the heart and be heard.

Our Goal with Master Your Story It Matters is to help you develop, hear and transition your life through impactful stories.   Stories that help you see things in a way that makes your path in life clearer, or to help you through a trying time.  This week I had the pleasure to talk with author Mike Schlossberg. Mike is known to many in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley as their State Representative, championing early childhood education, LGBT equality and women’s health.  Others know him as the author of Tweets and Consequences, a discussion of 60 social media disasters in politics and how they could have been avoided.

Mike shares with us some insight into creating his new book. In his newest work, due for release in the first half of 2018, Mike uses fiction in a young adult, sci-fi adventure to tackle a subject close to his heart – mental health and living with depression.

Communications by publicly traded companies can be subject to amazingly intense scrutiny. In addition to having to worry now about regulators, lawyers, and disclosure rules, you also have another entirely new audience watching everything you say: Investors, and the media who speak to them. And that means your communications can have a huge impact on the value of the company.
